In an elevator?
Here’s an elevator explanation. We created a new site for Solid Gear footwear, innovators in safety shoes and part of the Hultafors Group. From a 2 Day workshop to a prototype that allowed us to do rapid user testing, all the way to launch of a complete website.
As always, the challenge is not only to create great user experience but also to educate the user. In this case, everything from a high demanding craftsmen where safety is number 1, to show how sustainability is the way forward for their industry.
We started with a 2-day workshop to unpack the situation, followed by a prototype and user interviews to get rapid feedback from the most important people — the users. Armed with this user data we continued into a design phase that merged into several development sprints.
A experience that shows Solid Gear Footwear’s products in the most detailed way and guides the user to the right shoe for the right need.
