Wound support

In an elevator?

What if you could have instant access to support for wound-related decision-making considerations along with suggestions for dressing selection and products? That’s the digital service we’ve been working on together with Mölnlycke.

Challenge

The challenge was to design and develop a mobile application for health care professionals. Since the application is used while treating patients, the user experience needed to be seamless to use and reliable. Empowering the health care professional without taking more time than needed.

Solution

The core functionality in the application is an image analyser measuring wound size and a Clinical Decision Support framework that gives assessment uniquely based on the patients conditions.

With the user experience design ready, Humblebee developed the application for iOS and Android using modern platforms that are easy to iterate and add functionality when needed. Mölnlycke Wound Support use external tools built by Tissue Analytics, incorporated in the application backbone using cloud functions.

Result

The app is receiving great feedback from our users. Especially around the usability and how easy it is to use.
